What we are
waplusinfo is run by a small group of people who use WhatsApp Plus themselves and got tired of the typical mod-download experience — popup ads, shady URL shorteners, half-correct install guides, no real security verification. We built this site to be the version we wished existed.
Every WhatsApp Plus build we publish is downloaded from the original developer channel, scanned on VirusTotal, hashed, and re-published here as a single direct link. We document what changed in each version, write the install guide in plain English, and answer the questions people actually ask — not the ones a keyword tool says to answer.
What we do
-
Scan every build
VirusTotal scan with 70+ engines before publish — and we publish the result.
-
Publish the hash
SHA-256 and MD5 for every release. You can verify the file matches what we sent.
-
Document the changes
Real changelog notes per version — not “bug fixes and improvements.”
-
Update regularly
New WhatsApp Plus builds get up here within 48 hours of the developer release.
What we don’t do
-
Sell anything
No premium tier, no donations, no affiliate links. The WhatsApp Plus APK is free.
-
Run ads
No banner ads, popup ads, video ads, or push notifications. Ever.
-
Track you personally
No personal data collection. The privacy page covers exactly what gets logged.
-
Claim affiliation
We are not WhatsApp Inc., we are not Meta, and we don't pretend otherwise.
How we make decisions
Three rules guide the editorial side of this site:
- Honesty over hype. If a WhatsApp Plus feature has a caveat — like the small ban risk on anti-ban builds — we say so up front, not buried in footer fine print.
- Reader over keyword. Every page is written for someone who lands on it for the first time and needs to make a decision. We don’t pad content for word count or sprinkle keywords where they don’t belong.
- Verifiable over claimed. If we say a build is safe, we publish the hash. If we say a version added something, we link to where it’s described in the developer release notes.
